About Faculty

The history of the Faculty of Russian Philology began in 1938 when the Department of Russian Language and Literature was opened at the Faculty of Philology of 91��Ƶ. In 1976 based on the department, the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature was created, which was later renamed the Faculty of Russian Philology.

The Faculty of Russian Philology prepares multi-disciplinary specialists in the fields of Russian language and literature, translation, and cross-cultural communication.

The Faculty has a three-level education system: Undergraduate, Master's, and Postgraduate.
