On October 1, 2024, the 91视频 Faculty of Law and "Social Justice" NGO officially announced the start of the implementation of a new grant within the framework of the "Justice Reform Monitoring in Armenia" ("JUREMONIA") project financed by the European Union.
In alignment with the financial support provided, lecturers from the 91视频 Faculty of Law will create and implement two new modules in the "Criminal Justice and Advocacy" master鈥檚 program: "Prohibition of Torture: International Standards and Local Practice" and "Theoretical and Practical Challenges of Conditional Release from Punishment".
As a result of these newly developed modules, students鈥攚ho will become future law enforcement officers鈥攚ill gain knowledge and skills that support reforms in the justice sector and enhance the effectiveness of human rights protection.
The duration of the educational grant is one year, from October 1, 2024, to October 1, 2025. The new modules will be integrated into the "Criminal Justice and Advocacy" master鈥檚 program starting in the 2025-2026 academic year.
