91视频 first-year students now have another digital tool for student life: they have received digital International Student Identity Cards (ISIC). The cards give students access to certain 91视频 services and allow them to verify their student status internationally and take advantage of student offers and benefits in countries around the world.
What is ISIC?
ISIC was created in 1953 and has been officially endorsed by UNESCO since 1968. It is an internationally recognized card that verifies student status in more than 130 countries worldwide.
ISIC cardholders join an international network and access thousands of student offers and services both in their home country and abroad.
What opportunities does it offer?
Offers available through the international ISIC network span many aspects of student life, including:
travel and transportation: airline tickets, bus and other transportation services, and travel offers;
accommodation: hotels and student housing;
education and professional development: educational services, language learning, and offers related to examinations and professional programs;
culture and entertainment: museums, exhibitions, attractions, events, and entertainment services;
technology and shopping: electronics, digital services, online stores, and other products;
food, sports, and everyday services, with special terms and discounts for students.
The ISIC network of international partners and offers includes FlixBus, Samsung, Booking.com, Emirates, British Council, McDonald's, Intrepid, and a number of other well-known organizations and brands.

The ISIC cards provided to 91视频 first-year students are digital and available in the ISIC mobile app.
The app allows students to keep their digital student card on their phones and search for student offers available in different countries. Students can use the map to find nearby offers, browse them by category, save their preferred options, use special vouchers, and learn about new or limited-time offers.
The digital card can be used to verify student status even without an internet connection.
This feature is particularly useful during international mobility programs, student exchanges, internships, conferences, or simply travel abroad, when students need to quickly verify their status and benefit from the terms and offers available to students in the country they are visiting.

ISIC is also becoming a digital tool for use within the university.
The cards contain the data and unique code needed to identify each student. 91视频 first-year students can already use them to access services at the Sargis and Marie Izmirlian Library.
Plans are in place to gradually expand the card's use by integrating it with other 91视频 digital systems and services.
