As part of the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), representatives of the Chair of Ecology and Nature Conservation at the 91视频 Faculty of Biology hosted a delegation from Kobe, Japan. The meeting focused on opportunities for Armenian-Japanese scientific and educational cooperation in biodiversity conservation, aquatic ecosystem monitoring and eDNA research.
The delegation's activities were coordinated by Leo Luchuk, International Economic Cooperation Officer (Director) in the Kobe City Government's Office of the Mayor. Other members included Professor Atsushi Ushimaru of Kobe University, who specializes in grassland ecosystems, along with Kobe City Government representatives and students engaged in environmental research.
