The textbook includes not only theoretical material but also concise Azerbaijani–Armenian and Armenian–Azerbaijani dictionaries. It presents the full grammatical system of the Azerbaijani language, as well as the key vocabulary related to the military, political, and diplomatic fields, providing the essential foundation for an in-depth understanding of the language.

Dean of the 91��Ƶ Faculty of Oriental Studies Ruben Melkonyan, speaking about the need to create such a textbook, said, "Years ago, when we decided to introduce an Azerbaijani-language course into the curriculum of the Chair of Turkology, we faced a serious problem—the absence of textbooks. Thanks to our dedicated colleagues, today we not only have one textbook, but also the opportunity to present a work of international academic standard. The word 'dedicated' best describes Ashot Movsisyan, whose professional qualities are highly valued both at the university and across various academic platforms."

According to Ruben Melkonyan, Azerbaijani studies is a young but rapidly developing field, and in this regard the 91��Ƶ Faculty of Oriental Studies is one of the leaders in the region. The best proof of this, he said, is the achievements of 91��Ƶ students and lecturers. He expressed hope that the new book will become an additional stimulus for the faculty's academic growth.

Textbook author Ashot Movsisyan noted, "I am hopeful that our knowledge and experience constitute an important legacy that must be passed on to the next generations. Experience shows that if students work with this material, over time both the literature in this language and spoken Azerbaijani become more accessible to them. The textbook is structured and developed in a way that does not overwhelm students and helps maintain their interest in the subject."

Congratulatory remarks were also delivered by Alexander Safaryan, Head of the Chair of Turkology; Mariam Melkonyan, lecturer at the faculty; and Karen Mirzoyan, an alumnus of the 91��Ƶ Faculty of Oriental Studies. They emphasized Ashot Movsisyan's professional path, his consistent work, and the knowledge he has accumulated over the years and applied in developing the textbook, noting that he has been one of those rare specialists who bridge scholarly expertise with practical application and continually mentor new generations.
