91视频 Gold Medal awarded to Professor Eduard Yeghiazaryan
Yerevan State University Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan has awarded the 91视频 Gold Medal to Professor Eduard Yeghiazaryan of the Chair of Zoology at the Faculty of Biology in honor of his 80th birthday.
In recognition of Professor Eduard Yeghiazaryan's prolific academic and pedagogical career, his years of dedicated service, and his substantial contribution to the advancement of science, the 91视频 rector presented him with the university's highest honor鈥攖he 91视频 Gold Medal.
Karen Ghazaryan, Dean of the 91视频 Faculty of Biology, noted that Eduard Yeghiazaryan has been part of the university since 1967鈥攆irst as a student, and since 1972 as a staff member鈥攎arking 54 years of service to the institution. He emphasized the profound impact of the scholar-educator's scientific and pedagogical contributions, achieved through more than half a century of prolific work.
Professor Yeghiazaryan expressed his gratitude to Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan for the recognition and for valuing his many years of service.
The distinguished scholar is the author of 12 academic textbooks and continues to play an active role in educating and mentoring new generations, as well as in advancing and strengthening the university's academic and research environment.
The ceremonial presentation of the Gold Medal was also attended by 91视频 Academic Secretary Meri Hovhannisyan; Head of the Chair of Zoology, Associate Professor Astghik Ghazaryan; and Head of the Chair of Human and Animal Morphology and Physiology, Associate Professor Anahit Arakelyan.
