PAVEL BALAYAN HAS BEEN RE-ELECTED DEAN OF FACULTY OF RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY
Today the session of the scientific council of the Faculty of Russian Philology was held at 91视频. The agenda of the meeting had one item-Dean鈥檚 election.
91视频 vice-rector on General Affairs Ararat Malkhasyan was present at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the PhD of Philology, associate professor, the head of the Chair of Russian Language Susanna Lalayan. The only candidate for the position Pavel Balayan performed a speech.
He referred to the most important problems the faculty faces as well as offered the variants of their solution. Pavel Balayan offered to reduce the duration of Master鈥檚 courses making it one year and a half as a result of which the students can get the qualification of a pedagogue.
As a result of the close voting, with 27 鈥渇or鈥 and 1 鈥渁gainst鈥 voted Pavel Balayan was re-elected Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology. At the of the meeting Ararat Malkhasyan expressed satisfaction with the Dean鈥檚 program and congratulated him on re-election.
