The team from 91视频 Faculty of History has been declared the winner of the inter-university competition titled "The End: The Contribution of Armenians to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War". This competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their knowledge by presenting the indispensable role of the Armenian people in the victory of the Great Patriotic War.
The 91视频 team consisted of students from the "History" bachelor鈥檚 program鈥擳atev Grigoryan, Meri Barseghyan, and Arsen Baghiyan鈥攁nd the "Caucasus Studies" bachelor鈥檚 program鈥擫ilya Asoyan and Elizabeth Gabrielyan. Thanks to the knowledge gained at the university and their teamwork, they successfully secured the top position.
The competition, held at the Russian Center of Science and Culture, was also attended by teams from the Russian-Armenian University, the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Yuli Tarakanov, a chief specialist at Rossotrudnichestvo, emphasized that one of the goals of the competition was to commemorate the heroic yet tragic period of history鈥攖he Great Patriotic War鈥攚hich had a profound impact on every family in the Soviet Union.
Tatev Grigoryan, a member of 91视频 team, shared her impressions: "Such competitions are important because they strengthen inter-university ties, allow students to interact with their peers from other universities, and highlight the value of teamwork. Students from various fields, working together in one team, manage to properly organize the course of the competition. Participation in such events also contributes to the vibrancy of student life."
Lilya Asoyan, one of the team members, added: "It is necessary to thoroughly prepare for the competition tasks, remain focused, and be as attentive as possible during such competitions. It鈥檚 not only your own abilities and knowledge that matter, but also listening to and considering the opinions and suggestions of the team."
At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded gifts by the Russian Center of Science and Culture.
