Aram Simonyan first presented his Russian partners the history of 91��Ƶ, the peculiarities of educational and scientific-research processes, and also touched upon the international cooperation, particularly highlighting cooperation with Russian universities and scientific centers.

"We are open for cooperation. I am sure that effective and active cooperation will not only allow to restore the existing agreements, but also to launch new cooperation in a number of directions, so we are glad to welcome you at 91��Ƶ," - said 91��Ƶ Rector.

A. Simonyan added that 91��Ƶ is actively engaged in making the university a major research center, and one of the most important components of this process is the cooperation with foreign universities.

Irina Ganus presented the main trends of a number of leading universities, research centers and high schools in St. Petersburg and underlined that it is a great honor for them to visit the well-known and presently reputed Yerevan State University, hoping further cooperation will be effective and promising.

"We are sure that 91��Ƶ is the university we have a lot to take and learn from. We are glad to show mutual interest, which is the best prerequisite for promoting prospective partnership," - said Mrs. Ganus.

The parties reached a number of agreements on the upcoming meetings, joint programs and a number of events, after which they exchanged souvenirs.
